Dissertation is done and dusted! Hooray! So happy to have that out the way now, as passionate I am about the subject, really takes over your life! I focused on contemporary conservation within the Amazon Rainforest, looking at various collaborative approaches and questioning if this was reversing deforestation. Definitely somewhere I wish to work in the future.

Also, I have just uploaded a sneaky preview of part of my current third year project on migratory birds, featuring swallows. I have been trying to capture the essence of each individual species and their interactions with the environment. My work is however becoming increasingly conceptual and varied in many ways ... will be interesting to see what my final outcome will become!

In the mean time, I have a few more shoots to do here, including more star trails. It's kind of hilarious how many layers I end up wearing; 10 tops, 4 trousers, 4 socks, 2 hats and 2 gloves. Yet I still get cold!

And then for a road trip to Cumbria, with keen fellow photography buddy, Carol! To then somehow squeeze in christmas between all this work before heading back early to crack on, ready for handin of portfolio one in January. No time like the present!
